ICC team arrives in Lahore to review Champions’ Trophy arrangements

A four-member delegation of the International Cricket Council (ICC) has arrived in Lahore from Dubai for a two-day visit to review the arrangements for the ICC Champions Trophy, which is to be held in September this year.

The four-member ICC team consists of event manager Chris Tetley, sponsor service manager Errol Stewart, communication manager Samiul Hasan and general manager commercial Campbell Genon.

The team will meet today the officials of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

Besides touring Lahore, the ICC team during its two-day tour will also pay visit to Rawalpindi and Karachi where the matches of the ICC Champions Trophy would be played.

The ICC team will be briefed regarding security by the police officials and the representatives of the interior ministry.

During the tour, the ICC team will visit the cricket stadiums of Lahore, Rawalpindi and Karachi and review various matters regarding the ICC Champions Trophy scheduled for September this year.
