The International Cricket Council have confirmed their Anti-Corruption and Security Unit interviewed three Pakistan players last weekend.
Danish Kaneria, Younus Khan and Umar Gul were all questioned but the ICC have not said what the matter relates to and nor is there any suggestion of any wrongdoing from the trio.
A statement read:
"The purpose of these interviews was to seek specific information and the ACSU has confirmed that this information was provided by the players.
"It was clarified that these interviews were not conducted in relation to any alleged breach of the ICC code of conduct."
