Quaid of the Muttehadda Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain demanded from prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani to take immediate notice of the ‘unfair’ ban imposed on national cricket team’s fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar and take this decision back.
In a statement issued from London, he said that due to decisions taken on the basis of likes and dislikes and nepotism the standard of the national cricket has been going down.
He said that the five-year ban imposed on Shoaib Akhtar cannot be condemned more.
