Pakistan blind beat Sri Lanka in 3rd ODI

Pakistan blind cricket team, rode on a dazzling century (116) by man of the match Nisar Ali fashioned out a fine 7 wicket win over visiting Sri Lankan blind team in the third one-day international at Quaid-e-Azam Cricket Stadium, Mir Pur Aazad Kashmir on Monday.

According to information available here the home team won the toss and decided to field first on a placid wicket. Sri Lanka in their stipulated 40 overs posted a total of 255 runs on the loss of 8 wickets. Ravi parera top scored with 68 runs and was ably assisted by Abhirathne who scored 58 runs. Muhammad Waqas took three wickets.

Pakistan in reply, achieved the target with ease in just 24.4 Overs for the loss 3 wickets.

Nisar led Pakistan to success with a high profile display of skilful batting. Irfan Majeed shone with a half century (51). Chaminda and Chandana Kumara claimed a wicket each.

The fourth ODI will be played tomorrow, Tuesday at the same venue.

Nepal beat Lahore in Blind T20 cricket match

The Nepal blind cricket team defeated the Lahore blind team by 16 runs in a Twenty20 match here at the LCCA ground on Sunday.

Batting first, Nepal made 185 runs for three wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Amrawali top scored with 89.

In reply, the young and low-experienced team of Lahore could score 169 for six. Captain Mohammad Shahbaz was the top-scorer with 76 runs.

Azad Kashmir beat Nepal by 5 wickts in Blind Cricket

Azad Kashmir defeated visiting Nepal by five wickets in a Blind Cricket one-day match played here at the Mirpur Stadium on Tuesday.

Batting first, the Nepal blind cricket team was all out for 156 runs in the 30th over while its seven batsmen were run out. Kartan top scored with 42.

In reply, Azad Kashmir achieved the target in the 24th over for the loss of five wickets.

From Aszad Kashmir, Nisar top-scored with 71 and was declared man-of -the-match.

Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore and Bhawalpur into semis of blind cricket

Semi-final places were decided on the third day of the Inter School Blind Cricket Tournament.

The school teams reaching the last-4 stage were Al-Maktoom School, Islamabad, Idariou School, Karachi, Govt. Secondary Blind School, Bahawalpur, and Sunrise-Sheranwala Schools, Islamabad.

In Friday's semi-finals at PAF Ground, E-7, Al-Maktoom School will face Idariou School, Karachi, while Sunr Qse-Sxeranwala, Lahore, will take on Bahawalpur.

Al-Maktoom and Idariou Schools were the winners on the last Lay of the pool matches on Thursday.

Al-Maktoom School, Islamabad, beat AKAB Blind School of Azad Kashmir by 114runs after making 280 for tXree wickets in the stipulated 20 overs and then bowling out Azad Kashmir side for 166 in 16.3 overs.

For Al-Maktoom School, Anis Javmd hit a monumental knock of 189. In the AK BSchool's innings, Fakhar made 36 and Habib Taj 32 with Anis Javed of Al-Maktoom School declared the man-of-the match.

In the day's second march, Dariou School, Karachi, piled up 483`for four wickets in the alloted 20 overs.

In reply, the Attock team collapsed for just 97 in the 17th over, thus conceding defeat by a huge margin of 386 runs. Ikramullah was declared man-of-the-match.
