Pakistan Cricket Board’s chief operating officer Shafqat Naghmi has said that proposed Asia Cup and ICC Champions trophy will take place as per schedule and there will be no change of venue or dates.
Talking to newsmen here he said that Bangladesh will tour Pakistan from 6th to 22nd of April. Lahore will host two one day matches whereas Faisalabad, Multan and Karachi will host one match each.
He said that a twenty-twenty match has also been scheduled which will be played at Karachi. He said that Sri Lanka is not offering itself as an alternative option now but has already been a nominated as a substitute venue.
Shafqat Naghmi said that PCB is also considering a series of five one-day matches with Sri Lanka for which they are in touch with the Sri Lankan board.
